Facebook is a social that connects people from all over the world. It was created in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg from Harvard University. First he only wanted to it for the students of his university but then it started to to other universities too. Any student could start using Facebook if he had a e-mail address.

Today, anybody over 13 can up for an account. At first Facebook  against other sites that were already online. But by 2009 Facebook was the most used site in its field.

The most important on Facebook is the ability to friends.  If you accept a person as a friend you will be able to see his page. You can take a look at photos or videos, or simply see what your friend has written. You can also on his status and chat with him.

It is easy to get friends. Just put their name into the bar and if they have a Facebook   they will show up in a list. You can then send them an .
