OC014 - An ideal weekend

Think of ONE word that best fits into the gap !

My perfect weekend

Each week we ask a celebrity to tell us about their ideal weekend. This weekend it’s the turn actress Mary Johnstone.

would I spend the perfect weekend? Well, I like to hang in the city, stroll past cafes and occasionally sit down and watch the swans in Hyde Park. When I was younger I’d go there more or every weekend with my parents. We’d walk to the park and have lunch from the same food stall. It’s still the same as it was when I a kid. I always have a good look around the shops nearby. I love the furniture and book shops though I ever actually buy anything.

I’m not of those people who escape to the countryside at weekends. If we went anywhere, it would to Morocco, where I spent a large part of my childhood. My parents come from there and currently I own a small estate near Tangiers. I like it because it’s so easy get to – just a short flight London and a one-hour time difference, but when you step the plane, you’re in a completely different world.

When I was a teenager I’d go out clubbing every weekend but I can’t remember the time I went dancing. On the rare occasions that we do go out, its usually to some nearby bar in London. I became a regular visitor a few years because I really like the atmosphere there.

But more often than not I just don’t like going out. I’ve got a reputation for arranging things with my girlfriends and then sticking to them. In the end we get together at my place and a movie.
